Great thinking Cassie, and I share your obsession! I believe as well that we have collectively only begun to scratch the surface of collective knowing and power. Besides what you’ve named here, with colleagues we have found that quite subtle and substantial layers can be missing — ie that in order to have more effective collection action, we need collective listening and collective interpretation/sensemaking; and that collective intelligence in some current iterations can lack the multidimensionality and depth of collective wisdom.
